The award-winning Cannon Hall Farm developed a farm shop retail interior. To showcase the very best of the local North Yorkshire produce. An ambitious vision and growth of 29% year on year. ‘The farm – to fork shop’ is an award-winning farm and deli shop.
Farm Shop Interior Design
Our challenge, to improve the existing butchers and deli experience and expand their offer through interior design and retail planning. Firstly, we developed a customer journey, enabling the customer to take a trip through space.
Initially, a separate entrance to the butchers and another to the deli, divided by walk-in refrigerators. The Client agreed to relocate the walk-in fridges. Therefore, enabling us to join the Deli and the butchery into one sizeable retail facility. And create an extensive retail experience.
The new farm shop layout linked their products and special offers, which created a cohesive retail shopping experience.
We developed a new oak entrance lobby and shop front. For example, oak and steel house the brand new state-of-the-art sustainable lightweight shopping trolleys we sourced. The innovative design concept enabling the customer to take a trip through the retail space, establish the critical food lines, and link each of their product offers.
We made the shop more prominent to new and existing visitors with wayfinding. We designed and sourced new refrigerated units, retail freezers and designed bespoke retail shelving to develop their retail offering. The design is innovative and efficient, always with customer use in mind. The butchery counter now provides a stunning chilled and LED-lit display of home-produced beef, pork, lamb, and quality English chicken.
Farm Shop Layouts and Retail Display ideas
Farm shop convenience is clearly defined with bespoke signage zoning to create an adventure through the interior. The Farm Shop includes a large butcher’s, separate deli counter and freezer area. In addition, there is a gift shop with a tailor-made shop display, kitchen accessories, alcohol, gluten-free chutneys, and jams. The oak and natural earthy materials create a perfect environment, drawing the eye to the counter displays’ fresh produce.
Our space planning leads you to enter the experience, and we created a ‘seasonal display’ in the lifestyle area. In addition, we designed a ‘family’ of flexible bespoke display units to change the seasonal product quickly.
The sales improved immediately, tenfold!
