DEMENTIA-FRIENDLY CARE HOME
The new Dementia-friendly care home has bespoke specialist interior design touches to achieve an ambient environment. The scheme incorporates a Cinema Room, Lounges, Dining Room, and individual bedroom interior designs. The rooms have proved a success, rapidly occupied by residents and requiring zero attention by maintenance on all but the most extreme occasions.
Interior DEsign for Dementia
The Via Interiors team designed the care home for the residents to provide specialist support for people with dementia and mental health problems who need personal care or nursing care on a long-term basis. The CQC inspection overall rewarded ‘overall outstanding.’

Healthcare interior design and Space planning
In addition, the Cinema room specially designed to provide a whole sensory experience. It gives a complete surround sound system with changeable sensory lighting, similar to that in most modern cinemas. Alternatively, the room can provide a musical experience of the highest quality.
The interior design is evidence-based to support people living with dementia. The aim is to enable those people to live a whole and active life as independently as possible.
