We created the Corecom office with a contemporary open-plan office with flexible meeting zones and unique breakout areas to complement this vibrant young business. When Corecom outgrew its Leeds Headquarters, they relocated to the pioneering ‘Yorkshire Hub’ in Leeds. Home to the largest solar farm in Leeds city centre.
Office Interior Design
Therefore, the new design-led, low carbon and modern building provide grade with A office space. The new office offers the growing tech company with innovative and collaborative working space. Their new office enables enhanced collaboration with the ever-increasing digital community in Leeds and Yorkshire. The design is quirky with a mix of modern contemporary, flexible white desks and bespoke angular meeting tables with pin legs. The informal meeting and breakout space feature Manhattan-style single-glazed charcoal grey office partitioning.
The quirky interior features a high bar breakout space, a reproduction orange ‘ball chair’ by Eero Aarnio, and a chesterfield sofa. The industrial lighting design incorporates exposed cable trays and concrete feature pendants.
Design Features
The new staff kitchen includes all the mod cons, a quooker boiling hot water tap, and a beer pump. In addition, the new modern office environment at Corecom encourages inclusion and gender diversity.
The business case is becoming more vital than ever. Recent research indicates that companies in the top quartile for racial and ethnic diversity are 35% more likely to have financial returns above their industry average. Companies in the top quartile for gender diversity are 15% more likely to have financial returns above their industry average. In the UK, greater gender diversity on the senior-executive team makes the most significant difference; findings suggest for every 10% increase in gender diversity, operating profit rises by 3.5%. The new office offers a diverse environment for women in technology, and from an ethical standpoint, diversity matters.
They use their new offices with bespoke breakout spaces to continue to develop a range of networking events and podcasts.
