The Client at Haley and Clifford Cafe and Deli challenged us to redesign their deli interior and face-lift their identity. We discussed ideas for the cafe interior design. So we developed an exciting concept. As a result, we increased the covers by 44% and sales ten-fold.
Cafe AND Retail Interior Design Ideas
The Client Haley and Clifford Cafe and Deli needed to make better use of their space, the staircase rebuilt to the rear. The design concept allowed us to develop the space plan to create defined zones, differentiating between the retail and the seating. The window display essential to sales and seasonally dressed to showcase the products and draw customers inside.
To make better use of space and easier to operate, we relocated the cheese counter from the front of the shop and the olive display to the deli counter. Enabling us to increase seating by 44%, deli sales and queuing also improved tenfold. The relocated cheese counter is a real winner, with an increase in sales and the counters easier to run daily.

Modern Cafe Interior Design
Our Client was keen to retain the original lighting from the art deco 1930’s Butchery throughout. Consequently, we replaced the lamps to improve the lighting levels and overall ambience. This solution maintained authenticity and was efficient, saving the client time and cost.
