WHITELEY VILLAGE CARE HOME
We liaised with the Whiteley Village Care Home Client team to produce Interior Design & FF&E Plans. This included the IPU Lounges, Ensuite Bedrooms & Café, and communal areas. The hub has 30 spacious care suites located over two floors, each with its lounge and dining space. We produced specialist Interior designs for the IPU Lounges & Dining, 30 Ensuite Bedrooms, communal Lounges, Café, and Hairdressers.
CARE HOME INTERIOR DESIGN
The hub has two spacious care suites located over two floors, each with its lounge and dining space. Each floor has a bespoke colour scheme aiding identification and wayfinding. A central, communal open-plan kitchen and living area is the focal point to each floor, with adjacent bedrooms creating a sense of connection. The care suites lead to a light, airy open plan living, dining, and kitchen area on each floor – tall windows and patio doors overlook an accessible community courtyard garden.
CARE HOME FURNITURE & SPACE PLANNING
The lounge and dining seating has a combination of heights, widths, and styles, which provides access to wheelchairs. Unobtrusive furniture details incorporate low-key design features to promote independence; these features aid both residents and carers.
We create spaces where interaction and friendships flourish by creating a friendly, relaxing, community environment. We incorporate high-quality materials into the design to provide longevity. All products and finishes are hard-wearing, anti-microbial, and waterproof to healthcare standards. Both faux leather and fabric upholstery are cleanable and provide core strength and durability.
